Chief Joseph Middle School Bulletin for Sunday, April 21, 2019

Welcome to Chief Joseph Middle School School starts at 8:20 am and is dismissed at 3:25 pm. Your student(s) need to be in their classrooms and in their seats by 8:20 or they are maked tardy. Students should be dropped off no later than 8:15 am to allow them time to get to their lockers and then to their classroom by 8:20 am. Students disrupt teaching when they arrive in a classroom after the class has started.


Looking for Host Families Learn about another culture in-depth when you host a student from Japan this summer. Delegates are here to experience what it is like to live with a “typical” American family. Program dates are July 21-August 17 and delegates are 12-16 years old. Families should have a youth at home who is within 2-3 years of the person they host and the same gender.


Apr 22 - 6th and 7th grade Grade Fundraising Meeting 5:15-6:00pm - If your student is interested in attending the Spring to Europe trip during their 8th grade year and you would like to involved in fundraising for that trip, come and meet with this group. April 22 in the CJMS Choir room @ 5:15 pm.

May 16 - Eclectric String Orchestra - 7:30 - CJ Cafeteria

May 27 - Memorial Day - No School


May 30 - CJMS Bands @ Willson - 7:30


June 6 - 8th Grade Continuaton Ceremony - 10:00 am Additional parking on the north playground parking lot and enter through the north doors.


June 6 - Last Day of School - Early Dismissal - 12:45


PAC MEETING 1st Thursday of the Month - 8:30a.m. in the cafeteria
